220 kilometers of cross-country ski trails await you during your winter holidays in Wagrain and the Salzburg Sports World. In fact, your Nordic wintertime fun can begin right here in Wagrain, where we have two ski trails of our very own.
The Tauern Trail is definitely the highlight of cross-country skiing in Salzburg. This easy to intermediate trail extends out for some 50 km, taking you
from Wagrain through the entire Salzburg Sports World region. The Tauern Trail also feeds right into many other SalzburgerLand trails. As you glide along through the snowy winter countryside of the Austrian Alps, you will discover a mountain world that
surprises you with something new and exciting around every corner.

Yet another of Salzburg's trails leads via Kleinarl to the Jägersee Nature Sanctuary. The successful conclusion of this trail is its circumnavigation of Lake Jägersee. The trail is 10 kilometers long and rated "intermediate".
Our Tip: This trail is also ideal for winter hikes or perhaps a Nordic Walking tour.
