Summer childcare in July and August
During the summer holidays, we offer childcare in July and August from Monday to Friday for children aged 4 and over. Childcare is provided in German and English and is ideal for children who want to play, do crafts, laugh, visit the petting zoo or make new friends. While our little guests are well looked after, parents can enjoy a few relaxing hours – for example in the Sky Relax World, in the indoor pool, with a massage, on the sun terrace or on an outing in Wagrain. In winter, there is currently no classic childcare like in the summer months. However, the hotel still offers plenty of family-friendly options in the cold season: playrooms, children’s cinema, indoor pool with baby pool and short distances to winter experiences in Wagrain.
Indoor pool, baby pool and Wasserwelt Wagrain
The indoor pool at Hotel Wagrainerhof is a popular meeting place for families. Children love the baby pool, while parents enjoy relaxing moments with a view towards Grafenberg. After a day in the mountains – skiing, hiking or playing – the indoor pool is ideal for winding down together. Another plus for families: with the guest card, admission to Wasserwelt Wagrain is included. In winter, 3 hours per day are included; in summer, admission is included all day. In bad weather in summer, admission is limited to 3 hours per day. Wasserwelt Wagrain is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Petting zoo and playground right by the hotel
A special experience for children is our hotel’s own petting zoo. Rabbits, chickens, pygmy goats and Cameroon sheep live in spacious enclosures. Many children love watching the animals, gently petting them and getting up close. For safety reasons and for the animals’ wellbeing, the enclosures may only be entered under supervision. In July and August, supervised animal petting takes place several times a week as part of the children’s programme. Even during supervised times, the children regularly visit our animals. Outside, there’s also a playground with a giant trampoline, slide, swing, sandbox, climbing frame and table tennis – ideal for active holiday days with children.
