At Hotel Wagrainerhof, children can simply be children. Our spacious indoor playrooms offer plenty of variety for different age groups – from drawing and playing to air hockey, table football, pinball, billiards, or game consoles. Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the family holiday remains relaxed. Children’s cinema, indoor pool, playrooms, and nearby indoor activities like indoor mini-golf in Wagrain ensure that boredom doesn’t set in. During the summer holidays in July and August, we offer childcare from Monday to Friday for children aged 4 and up. The care is provided in German and English and is ideal for children who want to play, craft, laugh, visit the petting zoo, or make new friends. While the little guests are well looked after, parents can enjoy a few relaxed hours – for example, in the Sky Relax World, in the indoor pool, with a massage, on the sun terrace, or on an excursion in Wagrain. In winter, there is no classic childcare like in the summer months. However, the hotel also offers many family-friendly options during the cold season: playrooms, children’s cinema, indoor pool with baby pool, and short distances to winter experiences in Wagrain.

The indoor pool at Hotel Wagrainerhof is a popular meeting point for families. Children enjoy the baby pool, while parents enjoy relaxed moments with views towards Grafenberg. After a day in the mountains, skiing, hiking, or playing, the indoor pool is ideal for relaxing together. An additional advantage for families: Admission to Wasserwelt Wagrain is included with the guest card. In winter, 3 hours per day are included; in summer, full-day admission is included. In case of bad weather in summer, 3 hours per day are included. Wasserwelt Wagrain is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Our hotel’s own petting zoo is a special experience for children. Rabbits, chickens, dwarf goats, and Cameroon sheep live in spacious enclosures. Many children love to observe the animals, pet them carefully, and be very close to them. For safety reasons and for the well-being of the animals, the enclosures may only be entered under supervision. In July and August, supervised animal petting takes place several times a week as part of childcare. Children also regularly visit our animals during supervised hours. Outside, there is also a playground with a giant trampoline, slide, swing, sandpit, climbing frame, and table tennis – ideal for active holiday days with children.
